Matt Harder wins research fellowship at Freie Universität Berlin

Matthew Harder, a graduate student studying the topography of Rome and cultural interactions in central Italy, has been awarded a Research Alumni Program Fellowship at the Freie Universität Berlin.  This prestigious fellowship will allow him to spend a 6-week research stay in Berlin, where he will be hosted by the FU Institut für Klassische Archäologie and Prof. Monika Trümper.  Duringt his stay he will use the extensive library resources available from both the Institut and the nearby German Archaological Institute (DAI-Zentrale Berlin) to start his dissertation project on ancient Umbria.
