JECS wins the Codex Award

We are pleased to announce that the Journal of Early Christian Studies (Johns Hopkins University Press), which in 1995 won the award from the Association of American Publishers for “Best New Journal in the Humanities,” has just received the prestigious Codex Award for the best journal on any subject before 1500 by the Council of Editors of Learned Journals. Dennis Trout is currently a member of the JECS Advisory Board and also served as an Associate Editor from 2005 to 2010.
